POSSIBLE CAUSE:THE INSULATION ON THE CAM ANGLE SENSOR HAS BEEN BROKEN TOUCHING THE WIRES TOGETHER. USUALLY AFTER RECENT TIMING BELT REPLACEMENT.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
: WIRING PROBLEM IN HARNESS BEHIND THE THROTTLE BODY

PROBLEM: LOSING POWER AROUND CORNERS-TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT COMING ON
POSSIBLE CAUSE: MAKE SURE THE REAR WHEELS HAVE THE SAME TYRE PROFILE AND RIM SIZE.THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM IS MEASURING THE DISTANCE EACH WHEEL TRAVELS AND IS FOOLED BY THE INCORRECT WHEEL SIZE.

POSSIBLE CAUSE: THE FUEL PUMP IS POWERED OFF THE ALTERNATOR, IF THE ALTERNATOR ISNT WORKING THEN THE FUEL PUMP IS UNABLE TO RUN

POSSIBLE CAUSE: CHECK WIRING ON DFI MODULE ON N/S INNER GUARD, CRANK THE ENGINE WHILE TWISTING WIRING HARNESS TO MODULE. THE CIRCUIT BORD IS KNOWN TO CRACK INSIDE.

POSSIBLE CAUSE:Some early Astra's have a rubber mounted Alternator pulley. The rubber can ware away causing the pulley to slip resulting in a low charge rate.

POSSIBLE CAUSE: Faulty EFI Control Relay. On most models it is possible to swap this relay with the headlight hi beam relay to start car.

PROBLEM:Fuel System Bleeding
POSSIBLE CAUSE: If you run out of diesel you will have to put atleast 10L of diesel in the tank before bleeding will be possible. Cycle the ignition switch on and off 5 to 10 times. Allow 10 seconds for each cycle.
